Yosemite National Park Valley and Waterfalls

Yosemite National Park embraces a spectacular tract of mountain and valley scenery in the Sierra Nevada. The park harbors a wonderful collection of waterfalls, meadows, cliffs, domes, and forests that include groves of giant sequoias, the world's largest living things. The area was set aside as a national park in 1890. Famous sights include El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.
