Vladimir
Rayzman
My interest in photography began during my high school days,
and has continued throughout my life. My photographic
interests include many different subjects and styles.
My pictures are an attempt to capture the beauty of the
natural world: dramatic moments, when light and shadows,
line and form, textures and colors, combine to produce
magical effects. I enjoy sharing something of the
beauty and excitement of those moments with others.
I have been using 35mm and medium format cameras the past
30 years. In 2003 I completely moved to digital.
Digital image processing offers limitless options for
creativity, and freedom in expression. I spend many
hours in my digital darkroom fine-tuning each image, to
produce highest quality prints. I use various creative
digital techniques from traditional color, such as tone and
contrast adjustment, plus unlimited effects: blending
my original photographs in unique ways, creating an artistic
interpretation of what I see, in order to express my
emotions and feeling in the moment when I captured this
scene.
My portfolio includes traditional landscapes, floral and
architectural subjects, urban landscapes, and abstract
artistic impression images in color, black & white, and
monochrome toning.
I currently use a Canon digital SLR cameras and Canon
lenses. I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 as main
photo-editing software in producing my images. Most
recently I have added Adobe's new software Adobe
Photoshop Lightroom to my digital darkroom, a robust
tools for organize, managing ,and fine-tune large volumes of
digital images, with precise globally correcting white
balance, exposure, tone curves, lens distortion, and color
casts.
Please view the photographs in my gallery. I hope you
enjoy them. You can purchase limited edition
fine art photographic prints for decoration your home and

from left column...Size and Finish
My standard print size offerings are: 7 x 5, 8 X 8, 8 x 10,
8 x 12, 10 X 10, 11 x 14, 12 X 12, 12 x 16, 12 x 18, and 13
x 19. Actual image size of my prints can vary greatly.
I crop my images for the best format for that particular
composition. Prints are available on heavyweight archival
matte finish. Matte finish is less reflective, but
glossy gives colors a little more saturation. My
personal preference is matte finish. With the
heavyweight professional matte paper, the prints have the
look and feel of a traditional photograph but with much
better color and, clarity, and sharpness.
Matting and Framing
Prints are offered as Prints Only, Matted, or Matted and
Framed. All mattes are single white, museum quality
archival rag board made with acid free components.
Matting can be provided for any size image chosen. The
matting typically adds 4-5" all around to the print size.
For framed orders I choose a single mat and frame that I
believe best suits the actual print. Due to the
variety of Mattes and Frames available I would suggest
customers have this done locally to more accurately match
the print with its surroundings. It may be more
economical for customer to do the framing yourself due to
packaging & shipping costs, plus the risks of safe shipping.
Custom Large Prints
Larger custom sizes prints, custom color mattes, double or
triple matting, can be special ordered by requesting a
quote. The price will be emailed to the customer for
authorization, and the customer can use the Custom Order
form to place the order. A link will be provided with
the quote.
